New shiplap timber cladding range offers longevity

  • 17 Aug 2015

PVC-U woodgrain cladding is often used as a low maintenance option for dormer extensions and detailing on external areas. Freefoam has responded to the growing trend of grey windows and doors by adding a new Anthracite Grey woodgrain option to the range.

Minimising stock holding

The 150mm Shiplap cladding features a modified right angle led designed to fit with the new generic standard range of cladding trims launched earlier this year.

The generic range of cladding accessories is designed to work with the complete range of cladding products from the narrow 100mm wide Open V cladding, up to the Fortex Pro 333mm wide double shiplap board.

Protected to last

Freefoam uses Renolit’s Exofol PVC film for all woodgrain products to provide a durable, fade resistant product.

The film is manufactured with two layers: the colour pigments in the base film use Solar Shield Technology to protect the cladding against excessive heat build up, whilst the upper transparent layer prevents against fading caused by UV radiation and weathering.

Freefoam offers a ten year guarantee on all its woodgrain cladding products.
