New specification sales manager joins Saint-Gobain Weber

SaintGobain Weber has appointed Jon Sweeney as specification sales manager – he will be joining the infrastructure team, covering the north.

He has over 11 years worth of experience working in the construction industry, specialising in concrete technology, repair and protection. He has previously worked for Fosroc, minerals applications company TOLSA, and raw materials supplier BASF.

Jon said: “I’m looking forward to working on some really interesting infrastructure projects and using my industry experience to ensure Weber customers receive the best product and technical advice for their project.

“Technical mortars continue to develop in terms of structural strength, durability and performance and Weber has provided solutions in this field for over 30 years, so we’re right at the forefront of the technical solutions that major contractors need today.”

SaintGobain Weber manufactures industrial mortar products including renders and decorative finishes, tile fixing products, floor screeds, technical mortars and external wall insulation systems. 

Weber provides products that have been tested to meet the most stringent European and British standards.
