A number of big construction brands, including Owatrol and Eurotec, have scheduled new timber product launches for Timber Expo, which will take place as part of UK Construction Week in October.

Timber Expo aims to celebrate the use of timber, a natural material which has taken on an important role in the modern construction industry.

In addition to a Timber Flooring Workshop and a full seminar schedule, which will take place at its Timber Focus Theatre, the show will play host to new products, services and innovations within the market.

Timber product launches

At the show, Owatrol will be introducing the latest addition to its range of timber protection coatings: Textrol UV+ is a clear finish that has been developed to protect cladding applications against UV damage.

Its existing coating products – from water-based and wood oil to eco-friendly and opaque stain – will also be on display.

Jagram’s stand will see the launch of Spiral, a double-curved gluelam product, and three new hanging chairs, whilst Eurotec will be exhibiting its recently released Stone System for deck board and stone slab installation.

Steico will be presenting its new Durelisdeck option to tradespeople, developers and housebuilders. The system has been designed to offer a peel clean solution, providing protection for exposed floors onsite and during construction.

Timber ExpoTimber Expo will host innovations from other companies, such as Hanson Plywood, Arch Timber Protection and Metsä Wood.

Rothoblaas, for instance, is set to showcase its complete range of traditional fixing systems and waterproofing membranes: its new XYLOFON range of soundproofing membranes will also be on display.

Finally, Vastern Timber will be exhibiting its Brimstone range of thermally-modified British timber products. The range, which was released earlier this year, has been designed to combine the environmental benefits of local sourcing with the advantages of thermal modification.
