New wall colours and finishes presented at Retail Design Expo

Armourcoat presented its new surface finishes at the Retail Design Expo in London

Rusteel metal rust finish

Armourcoat has developed its Rusteel finish to provide a patina effect with the aim of creating an aged and weather-beaten look.

The new coating has been manufactured using a water-based paint with metal particles that naturally begin to tarnish when they are activated.

Once they have tarnished, and the desired effect has been achieved, a sealer coat is applied to provide an additional protective layer.

The finish is available through Armourcoat’s ArmourFX modular panel system in which the company’s designers can create integrated custom wall panel system.

Armourcoat also exhibited its Timber-Effect panels, which are cast from Douglas Fir timber planks, at the show.

The panels are available in ‘original’ or ‘rigid’ designs and manufactured using a polymer-modified gypsum resin mix.

Armourcoat will be exhibiting its extensive range again at Decorex International, which is scheduled to take place in September 2015.
