New window from Schueco UK is latest in Panorama range

  • 7 Feb 2019

Britain’s leading specialist in aluminium and steel systems for the whole building envelope, Schueco UK, has launched the AWS 75 PD.SI Panorama window.

Aimed primarily at the residential market, the new window is designed for the construction of ribbon windows and for use as an insert in a Schueco mullion/transom façade system such as the Schueco FWS 35 PD.

The Schueco AWS 75 PD.SI window features reduced internal and external face-widths as low as 55 mm, that allow it to deliver a whole new level of transparency.

Despite this, the window is still capable of achieving an excellent Uw value of 0.87 W/m2K.

This is in line with the company’s other Panorama systems, which all offer the narrow face-widths that make large areas of clear glazing possible, but with no diminution of the insulation values essential for maximising energy performance.

In addition, it has an attractive flush appearance, courtesy of smooth internal profiles and there is a stylish, ergonomically designed handle without rosettes, that can be fitted with a lock if required.

The Schueco AWS 75 PD.SI can accommodate vent sizes up to 2.5 m and glass weights up to 160 kg, with watertightness up to 600 Pa and burglar resistance up to RC2.

Versatility in use is assured by a wide range of profiles that include corner mullions, structural mullions, symmetrical and asymmetrical mullions and Schueco TipTronic automated toplights.

The inclusion of SimplySmart intelligent components mean fabrication is speedy and economical and the window sits comfortably within the Schueco AWS modular system.
