Schueco UK’s new AWS 90 range of window systems has achieved Passive House Certification

The company’s new Schueco AWS 90.SI window system is able to deliver a U value of 0.8 W/m2K with 0.7 W/m2K triple glazing.

The window system has been manufactured with advanced insulation technology to ensure it has a positive impact on the energy efficiency of a building.

Thanks to its thermal performance, it has achieved Passive House Certification, along with Schueco’s existing systems and the other products in its new AWS 90 window range.

To enhance the system’s security properties, Schueco has included its AvanTEC concealed fittings in it design.

With the addition of the concealed fittings, the system can have either RC 2 or RC 3 levels of burglar resistance to EN 1627.

Schueco’s new AWS 90 window range also includes the Schueco AWS 90 BS.SI and the Schueco AWS 90.SI Green.

The Schueco AWS 90.SI Green has been designed with polyamide insulating bars, foam and gaskets, which are all made from renewable raw materials.

They have been included to make the window system more environmentally friendly.

The AWS 90 BS.SI has been developed by Schueco as a solution for concealed vent windows in single and double-vent designs.

It has a standard frame width of 95mm and features face widths of 77mm.

All three systems in Schueco’s AWS 90 window range can be installed to suit various structural requirements, allowing architects freedom when they are designing their buildings.
