Newton Waterproofing Systems has become the UK licensed partner for the unique RiveStop System in the UK waterproofing industry.
Already the UK’s leading independent designer and supplier of guaranteed waterproofing solutions, Newton has added the patented RiveStop System to its product range.
The unique method is designed for sealing tie holes in concrete walls whilst also delivering massive time and cost savings compared to the alternative products in the market.
The innovative system consists of three simple components: RivePipe, RiveOut & RiveStop.
RivePipe is a removable, reusable and recyclable formwork tube that protects the tie bars on concrete walls of any thickness.
Once the concrete has been poured and set, the RiveOut unit easily removes the RivePipe tubes in a matter of seconds, ready to be reused.
Finally, the patented RiveStop unit is installed to provide a 100% reliable, mechanical seal to the tie holes.
The RiveStop System delivers numerous benefits including reliability, reusability and ease of use, with savings of up to 90% in both man hours and material costs compared to other alternatives in the UK waterproofing market.
The system is ideal for use on any water-retaining or concrete structure and has already proven itself on numerous large-scale projects worldwide, from a new metro tunnel system in Hong Kong to a concrete wind turbine platform in the Atlantic Ocean.
Warren Muschialli, MD of Newton Waterproofing Systems, commented: “Newton is proud to be partnering with RiveStop, to bring this innovative method of waterproofing tie holes to the UK waterproofing industry.
“RiveStop joins our comprehensive System 300 range of products, all designed to effectively seal retained concrete structures so they are integrally waterproof.”
