New London depot for Mabey Hire

Non-mechanical plant hire depot opens in London region

  • 28 Oct 2015

Mabey Hire has opened a new depot at Iver. In close proximity to Heathrow Airport and the M4, the new facility has been built to expand the company’s network and improve its service capability.

By complementing Mabey Hire’s existing depots in Strood and Hatfield, the new facility will support the company’s contribution to the London region.

As the overall construction output in London has grown in recent months, Mabey Hire hopes its new facility will allow it to expand its reach into the area.

Improved service offering

The site, based in Buckinghamshire, was chosen for its transport links into and out of the capital city. Less than 4 miles from the M4, it is ideally located for Mabey Hire to serve its existing and potential new customers.

The company, which provides non-mechanical plant hire and engineered modular and proprietary temporary works equipment, has recruited a specialist team to operate the new facility; they will be working closely with the Hatfield depot.

The Iver depot will be stocked with a range of equipment from Mabey Hire’s product catalogue, which has been selected from customer and industry feedback.
