Nortek are ErP ready… RHeco Ready

  • 14 Dec 2017

With Warm Air, Radiant and Heating Products now becoming affected by European Regulations, Nortek are ready for the changes.

Warm air heaters have become subject to Lot 21 of the directive and radiant heaters Lot 20. Minimum efficiencies for warm air is now 72%, with radiant heaters now at 74%.

Importantly, these minimum criteria are applicable for both new installations and for replacing existing products. This means customers can be safe in the knowledge that the heating equipment they are buying is very much energy efficient and emissions of harmful pollutants are constrained.

Nortek’s ErP compliant range features the highly efficient RHeco series of energy saving condensing gas red unit heaters, which has been ErP compliant for many years.

The RHeco range offers the highest efficiency levels and significantly lowered CO2 & NOx emissions, whilst exceeding the current Building Regulations L2 requirements, with thermal efficiencies up to 109% to provide exceptional levels of seasonal efficiency.

On top of this, the very low NOx modulating pre-mix burner allows BREEAM points to claimed (when applicable).
