Novus improves 20k lives with new campaign

  • 27 Jan 2017

More than 20,000 lives have been transformed and improved since Novus Property Solutions launched its successful Changing Lives initiative at the start of 2015.

Over the last two years through its Changing Lives Programme, the property maintenance specialist aimed to make a positive contribution to the communities in which it operates. It has organised hundreds of volunteer projects from employment opportunities and skills development activities to community projects designed to tackle local issues.

Novus employees have also raised and donated more than £110,000 for a variety of charities and good causes.

Novus ran eight separate social media competitions last year, as part of the campaign, which aimed to recognise the little things that make a big difference to people’s everyday lives. Following the popular competitions, £1,800 was donated by Novus in total to 13 different charities selected by the winners.

Novus encourages it’s entire workforce to get involved by contributing ideas for campaign activities, as well as volunteering their time and energy.

Head of social value at Novus, Kevin Rhone called the campaign a huge success and claimed that it helped to build a sense of pride amongst their staff while building strong relationships with people and organisations.
