CR Laurence’s Office Partition XL has been developed for use in contemporary office buildings, where users are looking to create an open-plan ambience without compromising on acoustics.
The Office Partition XL has been designed to create the impression of maximum transparency: its thin, unobtrusive powder-coated profiles, which can be fixed to ceilings, floors, walls and door frames, can accommodate quality panes of monolithic toughened or laminated glass.
The profiles can also hold insulating glass of up to 28mm thick, which insulates sound up to 42dB.
In addition to its aesthetic and acoustic benefits, the Office Partition XL System boasts an straightforward installation process. The height of the hinged doors can be easily adjusted, and the doors can be fitted in mounted ceiling profiles in wall-to-glass or glass-to-glass applications.
No glass fabrication is required, nor silicone sealant: polycarbonate joints simply clip onto the glass, allowing for a neat finish. CRL’s Vacuum Ratchet Tensioning Kit can be used to assist with the glass panel installation.
CRL offers numerous door hinges, latches and handle sets; the profiles are available in a satin anodised or brushed nickel finish.
The standard dry-glazed system is suitable for 180°, 135° and 90° abutment joints, T-connections and corner joints.
FLIR, a Teledyne Technologies company, introduces the Si1-LD, an industrial acoustic imaging camera that brings faster and more accurate compressed air leak detection to those operating on a modest condition monitoring budget.
