UK glass manufacturer GLASSOLUTIONS provide sealed units for the new Prestige Collection of flush casement windows from Aztec Windows for domestic and heritage projects.
Aztec Windows chose GLASSOLUTIONS to manufacture sealed units for their new Prestige range of flush casement windows that combine the great aesthetics of traditional timber casements with the security and energy efficiency of modern uPVC windows. Mechanically jointed, rather than welded means these Aztec Windows offer a premium result for domestic glazing and heritage projects.
Prestige flush casement windows developed with supply chain partners Veka and GLASSOLUTIONS, Aztec Windows created a premium quality product with excellent thermal efficiency, plus a ten-year warranty.
The Planitherm Total+ range of sealed units from GLASSOLUTIONS offer energy-efficient glazing solutions for UK window makers.
The U-value of 1.4 W/m2K and low-E coating optimises the balance between maximum light transmission and a comfortable internal temperature. In addition to being highly durable, this glass product is also superb in terms of its neutrality and clarity.
Michael Hagan, Aztec Windows’ Director: “Maintaining a building’s aesthetic while ensuring it conforms to the highest thermal performance standards can be a tricky part of any glazing project – but discerning homeowners have come to expect high standards on both fronts. The use of Planitherm Total+ in the Prestige Collection is the ideal solution. Installers love Prestige because it is glazed on-site in the usual way, unlike other solutions which are glass bonded in the factory and can cause big problems on-site should breakages or damage occur.”
