Paint specification CPD gains RIBA approval

  • 29 Sep 2014

The CPD delves further into three key subjects – the extraction of raw materials, the manufacturing process and its performance when in use, with special focus on how correct paint specification can impact the sustainability of a project.

The widespread use of environmental rating systems such as BREEAM, Ska and LEED, the launch of the government’s Green Deal for home improvements and the EU Ecolabel scheme has highlighted the harmful environmental impacts of some traditional paints.

Johnstone’s has been a provider of CPD seminars since 2005 and hosts a range of seminars covering colour, decorative fire protection for internal linings, anti-bacterial coatings for internal surfaces and how to extend maintenance cycles through paint.
