Palma Vita automatic wash & dry toilet specified for school

The WC has in-built douching and drying for maximum hygiene

Fitted following advice from Lothian NHS Trust Occupational Therapist, Julie McGuire, the school specified Palma Vita to allow the child to feel like his fellow pupils when he started school.

Palma Vita has built-in douching and drying so there is no need for the user or a carer to wipe clean with toilet tissue, and can be used as a conventional WC by other pupils.

The Rifton fits over the toilet and is fully adjustable in both height and back support to provide comfort for the child whilst keeping them consistently cleaned to a hygienic standard.

Daniel’s mum Stephanie, said: “Daniel’s left arm stops above his elbow and his right has a very small forearm with three non-functioning fingers, so the Clos-o-Mat gives him toilet independence at home and at school.”

Clos-o-Mat has supplied over 40,000 of its wash and dry toilets for installation in commercial and residential buildings all over the UK, many of which are still in use 30 years after being first fitted.
