Passivhaus Trust announces partnership with REHAU

  • 22 Feb 2016

After partnering with the Passivhaus Trust, REHAU has announced its sponsorship of the organisation’s 2016 UK Passivhaus Awards and its 2016 UK Passivhaus Conference.

REHAU is currently pursuing a campaign to increase industry awareness of its thermal performance product portfolio, which encompasses an assortment of Passivhaus Institute-certified systems.

Its GENEO windows, doors and REHAU Polytec aluminium clad curtain walling have all been used in Passivhaus projects, along with its AWADUKT Thermo ground-air heat exchanger.

The company will be educating on Passivhaus via a series of seminars throughout 2016.

REHAU sponsors the Passivhaus Trust

The Passivhaus Trust intends to launch its UK Passivhaus Awards at next month’s Ecobuild exhibition; the awards ceremony will take place alongside the Trust’s anniversary celebrations in early July.

In October, the 2016 UK Passivhaus Conference and associated Passivhaus Expo will be hosted at Islington’s Business Design Centre.

As sponsor for the Trust’s events, REHAU is demonstrating a commitment to Passivhaus. The company hopes to drive specifications in the UK, to minimise the impact of products and processes on the environment.
