A roof-top parking deck at the combined Waitrose Supermarket and John Lewis at Home store in Basingstoke has featured IKO Permapark.
IKO Permapark is a specially formulated mastic asphalt which uses advanced polymer technology for long-term durability, improved temperature stability and ease of installation.
The convenience of hot charge deliveries, through IKO’s purpose-built hot charge luggers, and IKO Permapark’s wide temperature window for installation meant roofing specialist BriggsAmasco could resurface the car park in colder months.
A 100 metre squared movable shelter that was used allowed contractors to work virtually with no hinderance, through the most inclement of weathers.
The development was completed to schedule, in time for seasonal trade.
