  • 18 May 2017

Pickersgill-Kaye is making significant inroads into new international markets following its acquisition by ASSA ABLOY. The Leeds-based lock manufacturer specialises in High Security Multipoint Locking Systems, which help to address large-scale security challenges that are common on critical infrastructure sites.

Now a trading division of ASSA ABLOY Limited, Pickersgill-Kaye is attracting strong interest from worldwide markets including Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions.

Customers can now benefit from a complete security access solution for the protection of high profile buildings, through the specification of ASSA ABLOY’s blast and ballistic resistant doors, coupled with Pickersgill-Kaye’s high security locking systems.

In addition to its high security locks, which are already in use protecting critical infrastructure and high value assets across the UK and Ireland, Pickersgill-Kaye has also attracted strong interest in its High Security Slide Bar, Claw and Pedestrian Gate Locks for perimeter security applications.

High security solutions

Developed specifically to meet exacting standards of physical attack whilst maintaining safe and easy exit, the company’s single and multipoint locking systems are available in both surface mounted and mortice versions.

Independently cycle tested to in excess of one million operations, Pickergill-Kaye’s high security single and multipoint locks incorporate a number of key features, including:

  • Stainless steel lock cases
  • Colour matched lock and rod covers
  • Cylinder guard protection
  • Hardened steel bolts, with anti-thrust prevention

The locks are designed on CAD CAM software and are UK-manufactured. All products undergo extensive third party testing to satisfy the operational requirements of both national and international high security market sectors.
