Pilkington Spec-it!

Pilkington Spec-it! launched to speed up online glass specification

  • 22 Aug 2016

Spec-it! is a new performance search function launched by Pilkington UK to help architects, specifiers and customers build specifications tailored to their project requirements.

Spec-it! is an advanced technical service incorporated into the Pilkington Spectrum calculator on the Pilkington website. The online tool aims to simplify the glass specification process and enables those across the supply chain to build up a specification, even if they not familiar with Pilkington products.

Search parameters include u-values, g-values, light transmittance and both external and internal light reflectance. Spec-it! also allows users to filter the results by selecting a benefit category, such as noise control, safety & security or solar control.

Once the user has found a match, Spec-it! offers the full performance data of the product at the users fingertips.

To access Spec-it! register for a Pilkington Spectrum account here.
