Polyflor has launched a new range of high design, heavy commercial luxury vinyl tiles.
Featuring a mix of 16 authentically reproduced wood plank designs, the Affinity 2⁵⁵ range has been created to work alongside its vinyl sheet flooring ranges to provide a seamless flooring solution.
The 2mm gauge collection offers straightforward installation alongside its hetergeneous, homogeneous and safety flooring ranges, such as Expona Flow PUR, Pearlazzo PUR and Polysafe Verona PUR.
This enables the creation of flowing pathways, zones and dual purpose areas within a building where different specifications of flooring are required to be installed side by side, without the need for levelling trims between rooms.
The Affinity2⁵⁵ vinyl tiles have been developed for heavy traffic commercial environments in sectors such as retail, leisure, healthcare and education.
The cross linked and UV cured polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) protects the floor and supports an easy cleaning regime and soil release.
The planks feature authentic surface textures, grain detail and tonal hues in a wide plank format which replicates the natural variation found in real wood.
The collection’s extensive array of traditional and contemporary designs can be straight laid, combined with multiple designs or used with flooring accessories such as inlay strips for unlimited creative possibilities.
Polyflor’s Affinity2⁵⁵ tiles can also be combined with vinyl sheet and tile flooring as part of a tailored design created by its in-house Design Service.
The design team uses water jet cutting to allow for a limitless choice of shapes, patterns and designs.
Tom Rollo, Polyflor’s Marketing Manager, believes the collection is in-keeping with Polyflor’s ethos of high design and functionality, “designed with the needs of specifiers and flooring contractors in mind.”
Affinity2⁵⁵ achieves a BRE A+ rating in major use areas and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, assuring that VOC emissions are below any globally determined levels. The vinyl tiles are also 100% recyclable via the Recofloor recycling scheme and contains an average of 40% recycled content.
