Safe flooring for dementia-friendly facility

MTX Contracts Ltd designed, manufactured and constructed Ward 29, a 1491m² modular construction made up of 31 modules which were built and fitted out off site before being lifted into position at the hospital by a 350 tonne crane.

John Abbott Flooring installed Polyflor flooring was used throughout Manor Hospital’s new 30 bed dementia friendly facility which features a reception area, consulting rooms, patient sitting room, six single bed rooms and six four bed rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Polysafe Wood fx PUR, Hydro and Vogue Ultra PUR safety flooring was used throughout the ward to help keep patients, staff and visitors safe and reduce the risk of slips and falls.
