Polyflor supplies colourful and safe flooring to Hopwood Hall College refectory

  • 12 Dec 2016

Hopwood Hall College has used two of Polyflor’s sheet vinyl flooring collections to create a vibrant environment for students in its dining and break time areas.

Polyflor XL PU and Polysafe Wood fx PUR flooring was fitted through the college’s refurbished refectory, designed by Whitespace Consultants.

Polyflor’s XL PU flooring was specified in Tanzanite Blue, Citrine and Connemara Green shades and was cut into circles and semi circles, laid into a background of Polysafe Wood fx PUR safety flooring in a Rustic Oak design in the canteen area.

Manufactured in the UK, the XL PU collection is available in 1.5mm and 2mm gauges in 18 different shades. Ideal for high traffic environments such as schools, Polysafe Wood fx PUR features 12 authentic wood effect designs with in-built sustainable wet slip resistance.

The Polysafe range is fully HSE compliant and is classified as low slip potential, achieving 36 + on the Pendulum Wet Test and a surface roughness of 20 microns +, fully conforming to the European Safety Flooring Standard EN 13845.

The flooring is enhanced by PUR polyurethane reinforcement for superior cleaning benefits and optimum appearance levels. Both the XL PU and Polysafe Wood fx PUR ranges contain recycled material and are 100% recyclable via the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme.
