The Polypipe Professional Development Centre in Doncaster has extended training offering to include courses on using domestic ventilation products.
The training centre is based within a spacious, double-height glazed building that provides installers and distributors with all the facilities necessary to gain in-depth knowledge of Polypipe’s solutions and products.
A range of Polypipe ventilation equipment is on display, including Silavent Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) and CMX Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) units; Domus rigid and Radial semi-rigid duct systems; Silavent Positive Input Ventilation (PIV); and Silavent bathroom and kitchen fans.
Polypipe has also dedicated a section of the centre to showcase the success of its Domus Green Line high efficiency rigid duct bends which have recently received the Housebuilder Best Services Product award.
Polypipe provide a range of training options for installers looking to ensure they have the skills required to undertake successful projects using Polypipe products. These training options are now available for Polypipe’s domestic ventilation system.
Options including the formal industry-recognised BPEC two-day training programme for domestic Ventilation Installers, which incorporates theoretical training and practical exercises, through to specific product training carried out by Jon Hill, Technical Manager at Polypipe.
Polypipe’s Professional Development Centre provides meeting rooms with full facilities to accommodate the training on offer, in addition to catering and ample car parking.
This latest development follows the creation of a new dedicated Project Support team and the launch of a BIM (Building Information Modelling) Library, which is available free of charge to help professionals digitally model a ventilation system within a specific building, to help reduce the risk of discrepancies.
