Polysafe Arena vinyl flooring installed at Birmingham BMet college

A Dark Concrete design from the Polysafe Arena PUR collection has been specified and installed at the Further and Higher Education College’s Matthew Boulton campus in Birmingham, to create a fresh look in the reception area, common room and canteen.

Suitable for busy commercial environments, the Polysafe Arena range incorporates aluminium oxide safety particles through the performance layer of the vinyl to ensure an aesthetically pleasing, yet safe, floor finish. The range has been designed to replicate on-trend stone, textile and abstract finishes.

Developed by Polyflor, Polysafe Arena achieves 36+ on the Pendulum Wet Test for slip resistance, with full conformance to HSE Guidelines and EN 13845. The vinyl safety floor coverings also pass the 50,000 cycles abrasion test which demonstrates the sustainability of slip resistant performance.

The range benefits from an easily maintained cleaning regime, due to Polysafe PUR polyurethane reinforcement, which is cross linked and UV cured to provide optimum appearance levels and reduced life cycle maintenance cost savings.

The UK manufactured floor covering is 100 percent recyclable through the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme, and is supported with the BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing Standard and a BRE Global A+ rating.
