  • 2 Jul 2015

The Selfridge’s on Oxford Street is one of many high profile projects that Prater have worked on in the capital.

The £800,000 refurbishment will see the north and south areas of the roof renovated, featuring a built-up single plyroofing systems incorporating a perforated Tata Roofdeck D200 with mineral fibre acoustic batts.

A support structure will allow for one roof light per roof area, while tertiary steel supports and 75mm corrugated steel decking sheets will then form the upstand, covered with the single ply build up.

The project is the latest London landmark to feature the work of Prater, with previous projects in the capital including the Olympic Stadium and Velodrome, as well as London’s Gatwick, Heathrow and Stanstead airports.
