Several of the new and refurbished listed buildings which now provide a hotel, apartment block, offices, bars restaurants and cafés with a new pedestrian thoroughfare.

Project architect Gavin Lloyd, of Morgan Mcdonnell: We have a mix of flat roofs, balconies and terraces; some of the roofs required to be ballasted, others with different types of paving. We specified single ply membrane for its flexibility and relative ease of application in a variety of shapes and areas; Protan’s products could be used in a number of situations, so satisfied our needs whilst meeting the contractor’s requirements too.
Protan G membrane, as with all Protan membranes, is certified to deliver, and potentially surpass, the energy efficiency requirements laid down in Approved Document L, and, under the Green Guide, achieve a A rating.
