PVC-U windows are key element for Glasgow renovation

  • 28 Apr 2015

The 60 year old bakery has stood empty since 2012, and has been chosen by the civil engineering and ground works specialist as its new Glasgow headquarters.

REHAU PVC-U windows are a key element of Deans Engineering’s new headquarters

Perfect Glazing was chosen to assist with the refurbishment on the basis of recommendation and the fabricator’s growing reputation in the commercial sector in Scotland.

The project required the fabrication and installation of 42 fixed and tilt and turn windows and 2 sets of fire exit doors.

Deans specified REHAU PVC-U windows to replace grey aluminium frames because of the improved thermal efficiency, the competitive pricing and stylish aesthetics.

The REHAU TOTAL70 system

Perfect Glazing used REHAU’s TOTAL70 window system to complete the project.

The REHAU TOTAL70 window system was used to fabricate the PVC-U windows

The REHAU TOTAL70 is used to fabricate windows with a U-Value of less than 1.0W/m2K, also offering a large range of foiled colours suitable for the commercial sector.

Perfect Glazing, which is also based in Glasgow, manufactures its own frames and produces toughened glass to certified British Standards.
