Leading sustainable building envelope specialist, Schueco UK, has obtained CORGI Fenestration Registration, becoming the first aluminium systems provider in the UK to do so.
CORGI Fenestration Registration is a recognition of a company’s commitment to possessing high standards of trust, expertise, reliability and quality.
For Schueco UK, it means it has been recognised as a UK leader in glazing company management and customer service and will be regarded an organisation committed to enhancing professional development within its workforce.
A consumer survey said 74% of UK customers recognise the CORGI mark as evidence of a quality company, so this will prove vital to Schueco UK and its nationwide network of Partner fabricators and installers.
CEO of CORGI Fenestration, Chris Mayne, says: ‘It was Schueco’s commitment to training as well as its well-founded reputation for the best engineered systems available in the UK that made the company a prime target for CORGI Fenestration. We think CORGI and Schueco are a perfect fit.’
The whole supply chain can achieve CORGI Fenestration Registration, ranging from system houses, fabricators and component and IGU manufacturers through to installers and repair & maintenance services. The scheme covers both the commercial and domestic building sectors.
CORGI Fenestration has created rigorous criteria for companies to meet, for which the highest of standards and management best practice are assessed, which in turn can be recognised and publicised, such as QMS (Quality Management Systems).
All glazing sector qualifications awarded by partner organisations’ GQA Qualifications are accepted by CORGI Fenestration.
Staff with these qualifications can now be given a personal CORGI Fenestration branded card, as well as being listed on a Skills Register.
