RAL Certification for low energy ventilation & cooling system

  • 3 Nov 2014

Further enhanced due to its high performance phase change material (PCM), the system underwent extensive testing to determine how the technology will fair when used within the built environment.

The figures achieved by the PCM during the cycles is the equivalent to 28 years of life in service, exceeding the 5-year Cool phase guarantee and the 25 year design life estimated by Monodraught during its Cool-phase product development programme.

Cool-phase uses intelligently controlled phase change material to ventilate and cool buildings, maintain comfortable temperatures and significantly reduce energy consumption by up to 90% compared to conventional cooling systems.

RAL Certification is an audited test carried out to assess the long term performance of Phase Change Material.

The Cool-phase system is a low energy cooling, ventilation and heat recovery system that reduces the running costs of buildings whilst allowing for a fresh indoor environment without the need for compressors or hazardous coolants.
