Recofloor’s 2022 rugby-themed awards event – the first in-person occasion for three years – kicks off in April at the renowned Twickenham Stadium where members’ achievements will be celebrated with much enthusiasm.
Taking centre stage at the event on Thursday 28 April will be guest host, former England and British and Irish Lions rugby union star turned commentator, Brian Moore. He will present trophies and certificates to members of Altro and Polyflor’s commercial waste vinyl flooring collection scheme who have stood out across a variety of award categories.
Carla Eslava, Recofloor Manager, comments: “We are thrilled to be hosting a physical event again and welcoming back customers, prospects and the flooring/construction sector as a whole to mark the remarkable efforts of Recofloor participants in diverting waste vinyl flooring from landfill.”
She says non-members are also welcome to attend with the Recofloor team hoping to ‘try to make some conversions’ among those who are yet to experience the cost-effectiveness and convenience of the waste vinyl collection and recycling scheme.
Carla continues: “In 2021, our members excelled in terms of commitment and hard work as we reached our 500 tonnes target more than two months early.
“So, we are on the look-out for inspiring and innovative applications of how Recofloor has made a difference on all types of projects, large and small.”
Entries for the Awards are now open and all the details about the awards categories, how to enter and book tickets to attend can be found on the website – www.recofloor.org. Follow @Recofloor https://twitter.com/Recofloor on Twitter for regular updates.
Carla adds: “Previous Recofloor award winners have benefited from free publicity that helps to boost their green credentials and business profiles with prospective customers.
“Our Awards event also offers great networking opportunities, so the chance to meet face-to-face again after so many months is eagerly anticipated by all. We look forward to welcoming you on 28 April!”
