REHAU Building Solutions takes learning online; new CPD this Thursday

  • 18 May 2020

Specifiers and architects nationwide have been taking part in a new series of virtual CPD courses, thanks to REHAU, that centre upon topics within the construction sector.

With in-person classes momentarily on hold due to the lockdown and social distancing measures, polymer solutions provider REHAU is providing digital seminars to keep building sector professionals informed about the latest technology and solutions.

The latest of these sessions, entitled ‘Heating and Plumbing Pipe Systems’, will take place on Thursday 21 May at 10.30am, and will be led the company’s plastics industry specialist, Laurence Chownsmith.

“Though there has been considerable disruption to the construction industry recently with many projects being placed on hold, the sector continues to be a hotbed of innovation,” Laurence commented.

“With that in mind, we want to continue to support specifiers and architects and ensure they remain ahead of the curve when it comes to new technologies and solutions.

“Though it certainly is not ideal that we cannot provide CPD support in the usual classroom environment, we want to use this time to ensure building service professionals can further expand their skillsets, so participants are in the strongest possible position as the industry gradually returns to normal.”
