REHAU engineer scoops BEAMA Young manufacturer title at annual lunch

  • 7 Dec 2017

REHAU‘s technical support engineer Michael Agyeman was awarded the BEAMA Young manufacturer title at the Annual Lunch last week.

The BEAMA and GAMBICA lunch was held in Central London on November 29th.

Michael was rewarded for his achievements in developing Building Information Modelling content for REHAU’s cable management and plumbing products. His work has included the creation of an international BIM working group of experts to share information and best practice, plus a series of ‘how to’ videos to help UK customers use REHAU’s BIM content and the development of a BIM performance specification for service providers.

Three of michael’s fellow REHAU peers were also shortlisted for the award. He said: “It’s a fantastic honour to have been recognised by the industry for the hard work that’s gone into the BIM project. It has been a great journey so far – even with its own hurdles – however the year ahead will see more and more focus on BIM, which I’m excited to be a part of.”

Michael has also been involved in statistical analysis to support REHAU’s co-extrusion programme and championed the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
