REHAU is staging a Passivhaus focused Open Day at The REHAU Hub at the Building Centre in London on Wednesday 23rd March.
The REHAU team will be offering expert advice on issues relating to Passivhaus fenestration and ventilation between 10am and 5pm.
Alongside Kevin O’Neill and Tony Harbour from REHAU, representatives from Pilkington and an acoustic vent supplier will be on hand to talk through the specific demands of air tight construction and glazing and ventilation solutions available.
An advisor from a specialist EPDM membrane and sealant manufacturer will also be available to offer advice.
Visitors to the Open Day will be able to view the full range of REHAU Passivhaus compliant and certified products on display at the same time.
This includes the GENEO window system and REHAU Polytec 50 aluminium clad curtain walling system and the AWADUKT Thermo ground to air heat exchanger system to provide the necessary ventilation.
Tony Harbour, manager of The REHAU Hub, commented: “We held a general fenestration Open Day at The REHAU Hub in October last year, and the feedback was so good from the architects and developers who attended that it prompted us to set up a regular programme of similar events where they can come in to talk to us about current or upcoming projects.
We’re focusing this one specifically around Passivhaus because, despite the fact that there has been such a surge in enquiries related to it in recent months, we know there is still a real knowledge gap in the market.”
REHAU Open Days are part of the company’s ‘KNOWHAU’ package of support which is offered to commercial specifiers, including CPDs, training, CAD guidance and site visits.
