REHAU has launched a new universal 10 bar pipework solution designed specifically for drinking water and heating systems.
RAUTITAN, comprising Flex and Stabil polymer pipes, are flexible, durable, corrosion resistant and easy to install.
The pipes are available in both coils and straights, and also as a pre-insulated pipe system. The Flex range, a five layer polymer pipe, is available from 16-63mm and the multilayer Stabil pipe range is available from 16-40mm.
The pipes are completely hygienic and microbe-free as deposits cannot form on the smooth surface and the cavity-free impermeable joints eliminate the risk of microbial contamination. It also has WRAS approval for both PE-Xa and multilayer PE-Xa versions.
The pipework is suitable for radiator connections and can be used for installations through the floor, skirting board or wall.Various pipe sizes, fittings and accessories are available, including compact stainless steel heating pipe manifolds.
RAUTITAN uses the REHAU compression sleeve jointing system, which produces a permanently sealed joint without O-rings – even at temperatures as low as -10°C.
The fittings are available in polymer, stainless steel and gunmetal, offering even further flexibility and interoperability for installation specifications. Using the RAUTOOL device, installers simply expand the pipe end, insert the fitting and apply the compression sleeve.
REHAU’s compression sleeve system has been used for more than 30 years in over 50 countries, with more than 850 million joints fitted, yet it has a zero fail rate for complete peace of mind and no leaks.
Drew Clough, Product Manager for Underfloor Heating and Plumbing at REHAU, said: “With the RAUTITAN range, we have applied 50 years’ experience in polymer production to design and produce a complete, contemporary pipework system suitable for drinking water installations and radiator connections. It’s a world away from traditional copper pipework and is so durable, that it can be fit and forget for installers.”
