REHAU have created a new real time project management tool, which could provide a solution to time management issues facing the construction industry.
The REHAU project portal is a digital solution created by GenieBelt and UNLIMITED X – the innovation lab of the REHAU Group. It will be showcased at the REHAU Hub in London on Thursday August 30.
The showcasing event at the London Hub, titled, ‘Mastering the art of digital construction’, will take place from 6 to 9pm.
The REHAU Hub can be found at The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London, WC1E 7B.
The portal will tackle the problem of capturing progress reports from many different teams and companies working on a site at one time, by providing a tool allowing the central manager to monitor the status of a construction in real time through the portal, and enables them to communicate with all subcontractors and stakeholders centrally from any device.
The Danish start-up GenieBelt has established the solution and hopes REHAU’s in-depth experience of the construction industry will mean the portal will support contractors and greatly lower time spent capturing updates and communicating with large groups of people working on one site.
Ulrik Branner, GenieBelt CEO, commented: “We have the innovative real-time project management software, REHAU has a lot of know-how and experience in the construction industry.
“Together we will be able to offer a huge benefit for the construction industry. Both companies want to set a new market standard for communication and collaboration on construction projects.”
Stefan Thomas, CDO REHAU and Managing Director UNLIMITED X, commented: “It is our mission to fascinate our customers through new digital solutions. Together with GenieBelt we have adapted the software to perfectly suit our customers’ and the market’s needs and to offer additional value to our existing products.
“We are happy to work with GenieBelt to transform the construction industry.”
