REHAU renews Passivhaus membership

  • 28 Sep 2017

Having been a member of the Passivehaus trust since 2015, REHAU has renewed its membership.

REHAU offers various products which bear the Passivhaus Standard certification, with exceptional levels of insulation to minimise their energy costs.

Architects, Architype, chose REHAU’s AGILA Passivhaus doors for 24 homes being built as part of a Passivhaus development in Much Wenlock, Shropshire.

REHAU supplied its Passivhaus GENEO tilt and turn windows and French doors and the AGILA Passivhaus entrance door for one of the UK’s first Passivhaus certified social housing projects in Sarisbury Green, Fareham.

Steve Tonkiss, Commercial Sales Manager, REHAU Windows Division, explained: “Being part of the Passivhaus Trust allows us to keep up with the latest news and developments in sustainable building and connect with potential customers and like-minded suppliers.”

REHAU has been recycling trade off-cuts for over 15 years and has invested more than €50m in new technology and facilities to ensure that more than half its products will be made using recycled materials by 2020.
