REHAU shortlisted for G19 Success

  • 11 Oct 2019

Facing tough competition from the very best in the industry, REHAU has received not one but two nominations at this year’s G19 awards, shortlisted in New Product of the Year and Sustainability Initiative of the Year categories.

REHAU’s latest uPVC design, the Rio Flush Fit Window, has been put forward for the New Product of the Year, an award that seeks to identify a new innovative product that will make major inroads to improving overall building performance.

In the Sustainability Initiative of the Year category, with entries judged on their commitment to environmental sustainability, REHAU’s PVC Recycling (PVCR) concept is at the forefront.

After a record year, the G19 Awards are now firmly established as a leading event for the glass and glazing industry.

With the finalists independently judged by a panel of experts, the winners will be announced at the G19 Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner on Friday 29 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel.

One of the world’s leading uPVC manufacturers of window profile, REHAU was among the first companies to produce and sell uPVC window and door systems in the UK.

With people becoming increasingly conscious about their impact on the planet, all REHAU’s products are designed with the customer in mind, to enhance homes while providing energy and cost efficiency.

Martin Hitchin, Chief Executive for REHAU Windows, commented: “To be named a finalist in this year’s G19 Awards is an absolute honour, and to be recognised for two awards is a real testimony to everyone’s hard work here at REHAU.

“We are very hopeful of success in such a competitive field.”
