Installers and fabricators nationwide are being invited to take part in a new series of CPD courses from REHAU, focusing on major subjects within the fenestration industry.
As the impact of COVID-19 has disrupted opportunities for companies to provide in-person and classroom-based learning, the polymer solutions provider has moved its CPD offering online.
As a result, professionals in the windows sector can keep up-to-date on the latest solutions and technology available, while adhering to social distancing rules.
The successes of REHAU’s digital learning courses earlier in the year has led to the company providing further interactive learning opportunities throughout the Autumn and into December, across its Windows and Building Solutions divisions.
The company has already seen enthusiastic uptake for its series of CPD sessions for building services professionals over September and October, and is now revisiting its online learning offering to the fenestration industry after previously hosting digital classes in June.
These new courses, to be presented by sector expert Nicola Clark, will cover the latest innovations in window solutions and curtain walling.
With over a decade’s experience in the fenestration and construction industry, Nicola will be bringing her expertise to bear in sessions that will include a presentation and the provision of further learning materials.
Each course will also include a Q&A element, in which participants can interact with Nicola and further direct their own learning. Dates, times and course topics are as follows:
– Windows Solutions: 13th October, 9:00 AM
– Curtain Walling: 28th October, 9:00 AM
– Windows Solutions: 16th November, 4:30 PM
– Curtain Walling: 2nd December, 4:00 PM
Nicola commented: “Social distancing measures and restrictions around group gatherings have meant that we have had to be more innovative with how we present and offer our CPD course.
“However, despite this disruption, the fenestration industry marches on, with projects continuing to be progressed and new innovations constantly in development.
“Consequently, we wanted to offer installers and fabricators more ways to keep up with the latest technologies and solutions available to the sector.
“While we would prefer to carry out learning in person, moving our training offering online has provided us with a excellent way of remaining in contact with windows professionals despite the impact of COVID-19, and give them opportunities to further expand their skillsets.”
