REHAU’S Smart Plumbing Manifold has yet again been shortlisted for an industry award; this time named as a finalist in the Offsite Awards 2019 Product Innovation of the Year category.
The Offsite Construction Awards, taking place on March 5 at ExCeL London, celebrate the best in precision building design and delivery, with the winners being incredible examples of prefabrication and factory-based methods, products, systems and disciplines that increasingly strive to develop a sustainable, streamlined and cost-effective way to deliver a better built environment.
REHAU chose to put forward its market leading Smart Plumbing Manifold because of its innovative design and purpose.
The new product is a valuable addition to REHAU’s portfolio with the construction industry moving towards offsite construction – as the Smart Plumbing Manifold can be installed in a factory and connected onsite speedily and securely.
The Smart Plumbing Manifold is a modular, compact product offering a solution for control of water distribution, designed for use in utility cupboards where space is at a premium.
Its benefits include being time-saving for the installer, taking mere seconds to install, whilst also providing visual checking to guarantee it is secure and tight.
Drew Clough, Product Manager for Building Solutions at REHAU, commented: “It’s great news that the offsite industry is recognising the Smart Plumbing Manifold and how beneficial it is to installers.
“It is convenient and space-efficient and also substantially faster than other competitor products available today and also creates a smarter and more secure connection that is unlike anything else in the market.
“We look forward to hopefully winning gold at the award ceremony.”
