Working in conjunction with Ecoliving, Dimplex hosted its Renewable Heat Showcase at Dumfries House in Scotland.

The Renewable Heat Showcase was attended by a wide range of people, from architects and contractors to estate agents

Designed to demonstrate the opportunities for renewable heat in commercial properties, the event was attended by consultants, architects and contractors, along with education bodies, estate agents and local authority representatives.

It presented delegates with the chance to see how heating products, such as Dimplex’s temperature ground source and air source heat pumps, work.

A range of CPD modules were also delivered by Ecoliving, Resource Efficient Scotland and Dimplex.

The Renewable Heat Showcase aimed to provide people with a better understanding of renewable heat and the potential it can offer Scotland’s commercial property stock.

A number of green heating technologies have been fitted at Dumfries House

Over time, Dimplex and Ecoliving have collaborated to fit ten different properties on the estate with green heating technologies.

These heating solutions replaced the original oil systems at the art studios, visitor centre, STEM Centre and hospitality centre, which all work to provide leisure and educational facilities for the local people.

The rolling programme of bespoke heat pump installations at Dumfries House has improved conditions on the estate, whilst demonstrating the benefits of heat pump technology.
