Retaining wall systems produced by A&G and Maccaferri

  • 25 Feb 2015

Acheson & Glover and Maccaferri have worked together to produce retaining wall systems for the UK and Ireland

Acheson & Glover’s role in the agreement is to manufacture the masonry products that will be used to create the walls.

These products include Anchor Vertica, Anchor Diamond and Anchor Landmark.

Maccaferri will then supply its own Paragrid geogrid reinforcement products to finish the retaining wall systems.

The components for the wall systems are being made in the UK to aid local economies and reduce the partnership’s combined carbon footprint.

Whilst Acheson & Glover’s masonry blocks are being manufactured in Northern Ireland, Maccaferri’s Paragrid is made in Yorkshire.

The partnership has already secured a number of large contracts in Northern Ireland.

The companies hope its alliance will continue to generate sales throughout 2015.
