Reynaers launch updated aluminium Concept Wall 50 High Insulation system

  • 22 Feb 2016

Reynaers has launched an improved aluminium Concept Wall 50-HI (High Insulation) system.

The updated CW 50 system benefits from improved insulation profiles, which can achieve an insulation value (Uf) as low as 0.56 W/m2K with a glass thickness of 60mm.

The previous version of the Concept Wall 50-HI system achieved a value of 0.73 W/m2K whilst the standard CW 50 system has a Uf value of 1.7 W/m2k.

The CW 50-HI is now provided with standard glazing gaskets, making it suitable heavy duty triple glazing up to a maximum of 61mm.

The CW 50-HI system uses an insulation profile consisting of a pre-cut part, so that drainage canals can be easily incorporated. As the glass doesn’t require waterproof taping to the pressure plate area, installation is made even more convenient.

Extensive design freedom

Other features of the curtain wall include a parallel opening window, a top hung window, a hidden vent turn and tilt window and a flush roof vent.

Bespoke applications of the system include the ArtGen office complex and art space in Prague. Developed by PPF Real Estate and CMC architects, the building is both environmentally-friendly and aesthetically impressive.
