Roofing fixings range extended to include Seamclip fastener

  • 22 Apr 2015

Informally known as the EJOfast Seamclip fastener, JF3 STX2 4.8 x 25 is the latest addition to EJOT’s roofing and cladding product range, EJOfast.

25mm in length, the product is an application-specific fastener, which has been designed to fix stainless steel support clips to standing seam roof systems.

The fastener performs well into timber and OSB substrates, as well as into thin steel composite skins.

Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, it is also able to resist corrosion.

Efficient installation

To make its installation quick and efficient, the Seamclip fastener has been designed with the EJOfast pierce point and thread geometry.

Installation is controlled and clean, thanks to the fastener’s reinforcement thread, which has been combined with a low profile countersunk head.

The thread displaces the metal as opposed to cutting it: this creates few chippings and, thus, minimal swarf.

The EJOfast range

In this respect, the Seamclip fastener is not dissimilar from the other products in the EJOfast range, which are equally as easy to install.

The EJOfast portfolio currently includes hex-head stainless, dome headed Super-SAPHIR and integral nylon headed Colourfast fastening options.

However, EJOT intends to extend the range further with the addition of a carbon steel EJOfast stitcher.
