Roofing products donated to fire-damaged dog rescue home

  • 30 Jun 2015

The fire started in Dawsmere Kennels’ reception area; it tragically resulted in the loss of three rescue dogs.

Thanks to Icopal’s generous roofing products donation, Dawsmere Kennels is one step closer to getting back on its feet

Since the devastation, local businesses and customers have joined together to help the charity re-build the damaged area.

With the support of Icopal, they are working to make the space bigger and better than before.

A donation of roofing products

The company has donated a number of roofing products through Jewson’s Stamford branch; its Torch On Underlay and Cap Sheet products have been received by the charity.

A team of willing volunteers are also working to clear the damage caused by the tragic fire.

In addition to this aid, Dawsmere Kennels has seen an influx of food and bedding donations.

“This tragedy has shown how a community can pull together,” says Icopal’s Regional Sales Director, Brian Dunn. “It’s great that our products will go someway to supporting this.”
