Alumasc Roofing Systems' new website for mobile devices

Roofing systems website redeveloped for mobile users

  • 2 Mar 2016

Alumasc Roofing Systems has updated its website for mobile users, making it both more accessible and intelligible.

Alumasc Roofing Systems carried out market research to discover how its online resources were being received by its customers.

The study revealed a 90.28% increase in visitors from mobile devices in 2015, suggesting that the overall growth of mobile device usage is predicted to climb further this year.

With 20% of the site’s visitors accessing it via their mobile devices, and Alumasc’s customers calling for a more friendly digital experience, the company issued an important upgrade and redesign.

New mobile-friendly website

The site has been reformatted to enhance the efficiency of its key pages; visitors should now be able to find information – be it flat roof, green roof or rooftop accessory based – at a faster, more effective pace.

Alumasc’s Download Centre, for example, provides up-to-date product datasheets, CPD details, brochures, specification information and CAD details.

The homepage has also been simplified for ease of use.
