Rousing reception assured with Washroom Washroom

  • 1 Feb 2018

Washroom Washroom has created and fitted an impressive reception desk, plus new washrooms, for an award-winning office development.

The Bower Building in Stockley Park, offers 151,000 square feet of quality office accommodation, with the reception area now featuring a bespoke Corian reception desk from Washroom.

The desk perfectly mirrors the angular lines of the unique feature staircases in the building’s central atrium.

As well as this, the leading commercial washroom designer and manufacturer installed new male and female washrooms throughout the building.

Making use of Washroom’s exclusive Iconica Collection, the design sees real wood veneers, glass and Corian come together the high specification finish of the whole building.

The vanities were made off-site and stored at the Washroom factory in Essex, ready to be delivered to site just in time for installation.

Washroom’s Alto toilet cubicles, in a real wood walnut veneer finish, were used, with full height doors offering entire privacy, making it a popular option for high specification office washrooms.

The Concerto integrated duct panelling system was installed behind the toilets and urinals in the washrooms; this was faced with toughened back-painted glass and simply adds to the high specification style.

In the staff shower and changing area in the building’s basement, the installation of Washroom’s solid grade laminate Forza lockers are sure provide a durable, robust storage facility.

Trevor Bowers, director at Washroom Washroom said, as the ‘stand-out element of this project’, it was ‘so important’ to get the reception desk right as it would be the first thing visitors will see.

“It’s fantastic to see it in situ now alongside the feature staircases in the main atrium – it looks like a work of art from every angle,” he said.
