Sadolin Superdec ambassador talks passion for colour outdoors

  • 28 Jul 2016

In our Video of the Week, Sadolin Superdec ambassador Gary Davies discusses his passion for colour using the wood protection product.

The short film showcases a number of projects carried out in Devon by Gary’s company, Lyme Bay Cabins, and includes an insight into how the colour specifications were made at each site.

Since launching Lyme Bay Cabins in 2011, Gary has specified Sadolin Superdec for all his projects, citing its ‘superior application and finish, coupled with outstanding colour choice and longevity’.

He commented: “There’s a growing focus on really defining spaces outdoors and putting great personality into projects, and for this the choice of shades is really important. It enables people to create their own unique buildings with great charm and great character.

Whether making an outdoor building really bold and beautiful, or just using a tone that blends into the surroundings, Sadolin Superdec has got fantastic colours within the range. The options are absolutely endless and the quality of the product means the colour is going to last for the long-term.”

Comprehensive colour palette

Sadolin Superdec is available in over 300 shades. It offers a durable opaque finish which erodes naturally by weathering to ensure the coating remains flexible and resistant to cracks, peeling and flaking.

The self-priming, undercoating wood protection product comes with an 8 year guarantee against the elements. It also requires minimal preparation and can be applied over previously decorated surfaces.

The new video follows on from another short film about Sadolin Superdec and its use by Lyme Bay Cabins which was produced several years ago that can be seen below.
