Safeguard Europe Ltd is proud to present the Drybase Tanking Range of high-performance cementitious waterproofing materials for stopping water ingress on structures, both above and below ground.
This collection includes a core range of three tanking slurries, which comprises the BBA-approved Drybase Tanking Slurry and Drybase Crystalline Active Tanking Slurry alongside Drybase Universal Mortar.
The well-established tanking slurry formulations have been used extensively by thousands of professionals in situations ranging from small above-ground damp-proofing jobs all the way to large below-ground civil engineering projects. They also heavily feature in Safeguard’s basement waterproofing specifications.
Drybase Tanking Slurry is the high-quality BBA-approved tanking slurry for standard tanking slurry applications on concrete and masonry. It is a versatile material that can be applied in layers by trowel, brush or spray.
Common uses include both above-ground damp-proofing and below-ground waterproofing with resistance up to 7 bar of water pressure.
Drybase Crystalline Active Tanking Slurry is a BBA-approved active integral waterproofing slurry for direct application to concrete. The slurry penetrates into the pores of concrete and uses crystalline active technology to block the pores, making it waterproof. The direct application enables a high coverage rate per bag, making it ideal for large jobs.
Drybase Universal Mortar is a hard-wearing and high-build waterproofing mortar. It can be applied in layer thicknesses of up 12mm, enabling it to be used as a single-coat waterproofer.
This makes it ideal for jobs where speed is of the essence, such as lift pits or swimming pool repair. After application, the cured surface is hard-wearing and trafficable.
The core products in the Drybase Tanking Range are also accompanied by a comprehensive set of ancillary materials. These are designed to suit specific job needs. These products include Drybase Elasticiser for jobs needing flexible waterproofing, Drybase Waterproof Plug for fast elimination of active water leaks.
Safeguard Europe’s range of market-leading, proven damp-proofing solutions is supported by the company’s own highly qualified and experienced staff.
The support and expertise they offer is extended to contractors, specifiers and property owners and includes technical advice, specification help, research and even in-house laboratory analysis of masonry materials.
