Midland Lead will be at this year’s Ecobuild event to discuss a new, 25-year guarantee on its sandcast lead, which was awarded by the Lead Contractors Association (LCA).
Committed to maintaining quality standards in construction, the LCA developed its 25-Year Guarantee Scheme in 1999.
The scheme requires LCA members of two years or more to offer a 25-year guarantee of workmanship and material for leadwork projects, valued over £2,500. Overall, the scheme covers a range of projects with a cumulative value of over £4.5m.
With LCA approval, Midland Lead will be able to offer a 25-year guarantee on its sandcast lead. Every registered project using the product, which is manufactured from 100% recycled lead, will now be vetted on completion.
Traditional in style, the sandcast lead has been specified to achieve an authentic heritage look across National Trust buildings, cathedrals, castles and private homes across the UK.
The manufacturer also offers a 60-year guarantee on its BBA-approved machine cast lead, and a 50-year guarantee on its BS-accredited rolled lead.
Midland Lead will be on stand C129 to discuss the new guarantee with specifiers, architects and contractors at Ecobuild.
This year, the show will focus on regeneration and sustainability; it provides the ideal platform for Midland Lead to promote its products, which boast impressive green credentials
