Sandtoft Rivius roof tile nominated for national product award

  • 18 May 2016

The Sandtoft Rivius roof tile has been shortlisted in the Best New Product category at the 2016 Housebuilder Product Awards.

Launched in the UK last year, the Rivius interlocking roof tile offers an authentic, natural slate appearance but is manufactured from natural alluvial clay.

The roof tile features a riven surface and dressed edges, with a tough ceramic finish. Due to the absence of tough rivets and grading slates, along with no need for drilling, the product offers substantial cost and time savings through the installation process compared to slate.

The 2016 Housebuilder Product Awards will take place at Edgbaston Stadium on 29th June.
