Saracen Interiors has appointed Emma Allison as its new northern operations manager.
Emma has a strong background in interior design and space planning, having previously worked for both AEW architects and Aedas.
As Saracen’s northern operations manager, Emma will be responsible for business development, client liaison and project delivery – supporting projects from initial concept and planning through to completion and handover.
Emma has previously overseen project for both the public and private sector, including projects for Leeds City Council, The Meadowhall Centre and West Yorkshire Police.
Commenting on her appointment at Saracen Interiors, Emma looks forward to helping the company in continuing to build its presence in the North. She said: “I’m aiming to play a hands on role and will be getting involved in all elements of the design process to ensure that Saracen’s strong track record for improving workplace efficiency is maintained.
The company’s ethos, to provide complete customer satisfaction, is one that will be appreciated in the North and, again, I will be working to maintain this standard across all aspects of the service offering including small works, facilities management and office moves.”
Saracen Interiors’ joint managing director Michael Page added: “It’s great to have someone who is so enthused when it comes to project delivery. Emma is a real detail merchant and I know that she will play a key role in bringing to fruition some of our strongest designs yet while delivering the best results for the client. I’m also confident that her passion and dedication will help to drive new business and position us as a force to be reckoned with in the North.”
In the past two years, Saracen has established itself in the North, covering projects across Yorkshire, the North West and Scotland.
The latest Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI) report shows builders’ merchants’ value sales in October were up +1.2% compared to the same month last year.
